DESCRIPTION: \n\nDoor and Event Security Course\nSuccessful completion of this comprehensive programme leads to: \nQQI Minor Award in Guarding Skills at Level 4 \nSecurity Institute of Ireland Certificate in Door Security \nSecurity Institute of Ireland Certificate in Event Security \nIntroduction\nThe course will be delivered by a combination of classroom\, on-line ZOOM sessions and an on-line learning platform which includes a security manual.\nAn essential and critical element of the online training is the support Prosecure will provide to learners during the study period\, we will use the most appropriate method that meets the learner needs including e-mail\, telephone and zoom. \nVenue: CCS House\, Main Street\, Tramore\, Waterford. (Above Boots Pharmacy) X91 WN7X \nDates: You must attend all dates \nThursday 5th June 2025 – Classroom for course registration and lessons 10:00 to 16:00hrs \nThursday 12th June 2025 – ZOOM session 10:00 – 16:00hrs. \nWednesday 18th June 2025 – ZOOM session 10:00 – 16:00hrs. \nWednesday 25th June 2025 – Classroom for Physical Intervention Training 10:00 – 16:00hrs \nThursday 26th June 2025 – Classroom for lessons and assessments 10:00 to 16:00hrs \n  \nDay one – 5th June 2025\nCourse registration paperwork\, language test\, verify and take a copy of your personal documentation (proof of address\, photo id). \nEnglish Language Assessment \nLicence applicants must be proficient in the English Language. \nThe learner will \n\nWrite 100 words on a subject given to the learner\nRead a paragraph from the security manual\nListen to the reading of a report and take notes\, use the notes to answer questions about the report.\nShow understanding by matching the first part of a sentence with its corresponding part.\n\nYou must bring with you: \n\nPPS number\nProof of identification\, any one of the following\n\n\nCurrent driving licence\nCurrent Passport\nGarda age card\nDept social protection card\nCurrent PSA card\n\n\nProof of address\, any one of the following\n\n\nUtility bill (dated within previous 6 months)\nBank statement (dated within previous 6 months)\nDocument issued by a government department/agency (dated within previous 12 months)\nLetter from PSA contractor (dated within previous 1 month)\n\n On completion of registration and induction learners will be given access to the e-learning platform including videos and mock assessments to complete their studies over a 21-day period. \nDay 2 & 3 – ZOOM   12th June 2025 \n10:00 – 16:00 Hrs. There will be Zoom sessions on these days which you must attend. \nYou should open a ZOOM account at ZOOM.US It is free. \nYou will receive an email from me with a link to the session. \nA phone is not sufficient for the Zoom sessions\, you must have a laptop\, desktop or tablet to take part. \nYou must have adequate broadband and an area free from distraction. \nDay 4 –   Classroom for Physical Intervention Training  25th June 2025 \n10:00 – 16:00 Hrs \nDay 5 –  Assessments in classroom   26th June 2025 \n10:00 – 16:00 Hrs \nCost \n€400 including QQI and Security Institute of Ireland certification. \n  \n\n\n\n\nApplying For A First Licence (Employees) \n \n\n\nBOOK THIS COURSE NOW – PAY ONLINE \n\n
